Your code stays yours.

Oktoshot is designed as a private, local macOS app. It does not require an account, upload your code to Oktoshot servers, or use advertising trackers.

Data collection

Oktoshot does not collect personal data, analytics, diagnostics, usage history, or the contents of your code and exported images. The app does not track you across apps or websites.

Data stored on your Mac

Preferences, custom presets, saved snippets, export recipes, and folder permissions are stored locally on your device so the app can provide the features you choose to use. You control the source and destination files selected through macOS.

Purchases

Oktoshot Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the Mac App Store. Oktoshot can verify purchase entitlement through Apple’s StoreKit service, but does not receive or store your payment-card information. Apple’s handling of purchase data is governed by Apple’s own privacy policy.

Website

The Oktoshot website does not use advertising trackers or create user profiles. Like most hosted websites, its infrastructure may process limited technical request data, such as an IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the site.
